GP Appointments
We offer flexible appointment times with both Dr Millard and Dr Clayton. Standard consultations are up to 30 minutes, allowing plenty of time to listen properly, examine thoroughly, and agree a sensible plan. Appointments can be booked online or by phone. There is no online triage, no waiting room chaos, and no pressure to hurry out before your thoughts have caught up.

Referrals
Sometimes a GP recommends that you need a specialist. We can make NHS and private referrals, depending on your wishes.
B12 injections
Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause anaemia and neurological symptoms. We offer diagnostic testing and, where appropriate, intramuscular B12 injections. Follow-up intervals depend on the cause of deficiency and your response to treatment. We can also provide clear written information about self-care and diet.
Lab tests
We use TDL (The Doctors Laboratory) who also provide pathology services for a range of private hospitals including BUPA, Circle (formerly BMI), Ramsey and HJE hospitals. This enables us to offer a comprehensive range of tests to facilitate our care.
Radiology
For X-rays, CT, ultrasound & MRI, we refer imaging through Spire Murrayfield and other independent providers, including ultrasound, X-ray, MRI, and CT. In theory we should also be able to make NHS referrals through the standard electronic pathway, but this hasn’t yet been tested in practice. If there were any administrative snags, your NHS GP could make the same referral on your behalf without difficulty.
Referrals
We can write referral letters to consultants and allied health professionals across the region - both private & NHS. These can be sent directly to your chosen specialist or to your insurer if applicable. Where appropriate, we can also generate a summary letter for your NHS records to keep everyone in the loop.
